20 year old Timmy Shackleton is a long time Toptenn Tennis Academy student, BTC member and BTC competition player.

Carefree Timmy arrived at BTC at 8 years of age and has been representing Burwood in Pennant and WDTA competitions since he was 10. This Winter Tim showcased BTC’s young talent competing in the Grade 5 Pennant Team alongside Richie Bing, Adam Matthews, Mitchell Higgins and David Barnett. Tim played a starring role holding the injury ravaged team together and recording a very impressive win/loss ratio in singles and doubles.

Tim has had a long history with the Toptenn Tennis Academy beginning with Junior Technical Programs and Team Toptenn Acceleration squads at the age of 8. Tim went on to represent Trinity Grammar in the schools First XIII Tennis Team and continued to participate in a Toptenn Private Lessons and Team Toptenn Squad Program weekly to improve and control his explosive power game. Tim is now the Toptenn Tennis Academy Tennis in Schools, Hot Shots Radical and Hot Shots Extreme Specialist Coaching over 100 students per week.

At the end of 2012 Tim will complete his Exercise Sports Science Degree at Deakin University which he is hoping to use in a Tennis Australia position as part of their Sports Science Team.
